Terry Tang - Winner Celebration Cake Maker of the Year 2007

The 2007 BIA's was on "open theme".
The event was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, London on Monday 17th September and was hosted by Joanna Lumley.

Terry designed a two-tier cake that featured kids cimbing and pulling the cake apart to eat it. It is made to look like it has been cut open, when in fact the cake filling is made of sugarpaste.

The category sponsors have said that this cake is still one of their favourites to this date as it was such a unique idea, and that Terry "raised the bar" for the competition when he designed this cake.
