Winners of the Live Cake Decorating Challenge 2011

Terry & Leanne won the Live Cake Decorating Challenge at the Autumn Bakers Fair, winning The President's Challenge Cup 2011.

Hundreds of visitors came to Bolton Arena on Sunday 2nd October to the Autumn Bakers Fair 2011, and this year the Live Cake Decorating Challenge was opened up to 8 teams of 2.
The theme for the cake was picked at random from an envelope and the result was a "Christmas" theme. The teams were given just 15 minutes to decide what they were going to make, then had just 2 and a half hours to decorate a cake from start to finish!
We decided to think outside the box and go for a fun cake and have Santa on Boxing Day enjoying his holiday after Christmas!

All of the cakes were then marked by Judges and the audience were asked to choose their favourite!

It was fantastic when Terry and Leanne were called onto the stage to recieve their trophy and award!
